Note | CHERYL LYNN TROTTER 1949-2019 Cheryl Lynn Trotter came in to the world on June 7, 1949, and was shortly followed by her lifelong best friend, her twin sister. She was so small that her first bed was a cigar box. She spent her days with her sister always at her side, which never changed as they grew. They were each other’s greatest gift from the beginning. She trained people to train dogs for many years. She thrived on connecting with people and helping them learn to treat animals with kindness. She was a loving wife and mother who devoted her time to taking care of her family and showing them they were loved. She worked hard at everything she did, and she always did things well. She developed a love of art. Her creative mind and talents were soon evident through her exquisite work with gourds. Becoming a grandmother, or “NuNu”, was a crowning moment in her life. She doted on her grandbabies like no other. She developed a unique relationship with each of them, and she will forever be remembered with great fondness. She fought a hard battle against bile duct cancer towards the end of her life. She stayed positive and persevered, with Buddy by her side. She is preceded in death by her mother, Berthe Lobit, and twin sister, Carol Lynn Minar. She will continue to be loved and missed on earth by her husband, Buddy Trotter, daughter and son-in-law, Mandi and Thomas DeLano and grandchildren, Lexi and Hudson DeLano, along with many other friends and family. Cheryl asked to be cremated, saying that she did not wish to take up space on earth that could be used by the living. Her ashes will be spread in her favorite location, Sedona, Arizona. Think of her if you ever get to visit this beautiful place. |
